We know how it feels to visit a church for the first time, so here's what you need to know. We hope your first visit is a memorable one.
10 a.m. - Sunday School
11 a.m. - Worship Service
6:30 p.m. - Evening Service
6:30 p.m. - Bible Study & Prayer / 3D Student Ministry / Kids4Truth Clubs
Nursery care is provided for all services, and children of all ages have a class just for them during all services, except for Sunday evenings. All of those who minister to children are loving and carefully screened. If you prefer to have your child remain in the main worship service with you, that's fine too. If you have to step out with a noisy child, feel free to do so. But please come back. As Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me."
There is no dress code, but since we know that guests would rather not be surprised, please know that our church family wears a mixture of dressy and casual attire. Either way, you will feel right at home.
Our Sunday services are worshipful and traditional. We sing a blend of old and new hymns and songs, we give to the Lord's work, we periodically observe the Lord's Supper, and we preach the Lord's Word. Our pastor, Jacob Langdon, faithfully preaches relevant, easy to apply, powerful messages, and we know you will enjoy him as much as we do.
Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of a monetary offering. This is an act of worship for the members of our church. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to participate.
It is not our goal to fill the pews as much as it is to make disciples of Christ. A disciple is a follower, someone who doesn't merely say he believes but who shows it. If you desire to learn more about God and grow in your understanding of his Word, we offer one-on-one or small-group Bible studies, outside of our regular service times. You will learn what it means to be a committed follower of Jesus Christ.
We are looking forward to your visit this Sunday!
