Discipleship

It is our vision to not only see people come to know Jesus as Savior, but also grow in their relationship with Him. Too often an individual will get saved but then fall off the map, never to return to church or to a working relationship with God. We hope to counteract this trend with discipleship lessons geared for the new believer. The Bible is our main textbook, but we also use a powerful curriculum alongside. Numerous leaders in our church have been trained to use these discipleship lessons effectively, and new Christians who become a part of our church are matched with these folks for personal studies in homes, restaurants, etc. We want you to know that we are here for the individual, including the new Christian who has more questions than answers. That is what it's like to be a part of the family of Fellowship Baptist Church.

In addition to one-on-one discipleship, we offer a periodical Membership Class during the Sunday school hour. It is suitable for new believers who wish to grow and for long-time believers who wish to be revived in their knowledge of the fundamentals. We cover the basic doctrines of Scripture, as well as what it means to be a Baptist Christian and belong to a Baptist church. This class is required for anyone who desires to become a member of this local assembly.
